Welcome to "The Riffle"!
The current issue of "The Riffle" is our inaugural piece, "Knox Woods -- A Walk With The Old Ones". It's a three and a half minute autumn hike through our nearby scrap of old growth forest. Old growth forest is an increasingly rare treasure in North America, especially in the US. Ohio has exquisite remnants of the towering forests that greeted European settlers, tucked away in places that have somehow remained untrammeled. Knox Woods is one of them.
