"The Riffle" - Our Free Flash Animation Series

Each edition of The Riffle is a generous pocketful of images and sound, blended together in slideshow Flash format. Of all the things we do here, this seemed the best vehicle to be a voice for this river valley, a way to extend the companionable embrace of this place to you, wherever you are. It fulfills our desire to let this part of the world speak for itself.

Fishermen or river rats amongst us will know at least part of the reason for our choice of title. The riffle is that shallow, cheery, pebbly part of the river with easy wading and good fishing (at the right time of day). And 'riffle' also reminds us of the animation flipbooks we used to love as kids.
